Anyway,
today Stephen called the Dr. due to him having fevers AGAIN and having severe pain. Once again, we were instructed to leave immediately
and drive into Huntsman Hospital. Once again, I received an emergency call at work and had to drop everything and leave. (I do have the best boss/friend in the world and staff that I work with that they just see the look on my face while I get the phone call and say "GO" we got it covered!) Once again, we make the trip that our truck knows way too well. Once again he went thru endless tests, pokes, IV's and x-rays. His immune system is low....very low and they are worried that the filter that saved his life 2 weeks ago might be the infected and might be the very thing that is making him very ill. They did not have any room at the inn (every hospital room was filled) and technically it is safer to be at home away from bugs and disease right now so they sent him home. With antibiotics and strict instructions to take his temp and call with reports over the next 2 days. If this does not work, he will be admitted if not there than at the U of U. So Once again, I sit and watch and wait and worry.
